BK21(BrainKorea21) 플러스는 세계 수준의 연구 지향 대학을 지원하기 위해 한국연구재단(NRF)에서 주관하는 정부 연구 사업입니다. 일반대학원 전산전자공학과는 "산업 혁신을 위한 AI 고급인재 교육 연구단"이라는 BK21의 교육 및 연구 그룹 중 하나로 선정되었습니다. 본 연구단은 2020년 9월부터 2025년 2월 까지 지원 받았고, 재선정되어 2025년 3월 부터 한국연구재단의 지원을 계속 받고 있습니다. 이 프로그램을 통해 BK21 참여 교수진의 지도를 받는 학생들은 고품질 AI/딥러닝 강의, 장학금, 학술대회 출장 지원 등 다양한 혜택을 받을 수 있습니다. 자세한 내용은 https://bk21ai.handong.edu 에서 확인하실 수 있습니다.

본 교육연구단은 국내외 대학 및 산업체로부터 우수 학생을 유치하고, 기초가 강한 AI 및 SW 교육과정, 세계 수준의 핵심 AI기술 및 융합 AI응용 연구, 그리고 인공지능 우수기업 및 지역 인공지능 기업과의 산학협력 강화를 통해 고급AI인재(Talent), 핵심AI기술(Paper), 융합AI응용(Code)을 배출할 수 있는 교육-연구-산학의 선순환 구조의 구현을 목표로 합니다.

BK21 (BrainKorea21) Plus is a government research project supervised by National Research Foundation (NRF) to support world-class research oriented universities. Our department, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, in the general graduate school is selected as one of BK21 education and research groups, "Advanced AI Talent Education and Research Group for Industrial Innovation". Our group is supported by NRF from September 2020 for seven years. Through this program, students who are supervised by BK21 faculty members will get various benefits such as high-quality AI/deep learning courses, scholarship, travel grant, etc. For more details, please visit https://bk21ai.handong.edu.
An educational and research group dedicated to fostering advanced AI talent(Talent), developing core AI technologies(Paper), and pioneering AI-driven applications(Code) to contribute to national and regional industrial innovation and growth.
