| 학부 내에 존재하는 전공의 종류

AI·컴퓨터공학심화/컴퓨터공학 전공
컴퓨터 SW 및 HW 전문가를 육성하기 위한 전공이다. 프로그래밍 기초, SW/HW 전문가에게 요구되는 필수 지식 및 스킬, SW 및 융합 응용시스템(웹/모바일 포함)을 다루고, 더 나아가, 인공지능, 사물인터넷, 빅데이터, 가상현실/게임 등 4대 특성화 분야를 중심으로 심화 내용도 다룬다.

전자공학심화/전자공학 전공

전자공학은 전기, 전자 그리고 전자기 현상의 응용과 관련된 학문 분야이다. 회로설계, 반도체, 통신, 신호처리, 네트워크, 임베디드(Embedded) 시스템 설계, 제어 등 광범위한 응용 분야를 다루는 전공이다.

IT 전공
100% 영어로만 진행되는 컴퓨터공학 33학점 전공, IT 전공자는 나머지 33학점을 위해 임의의 모든 전공을 선택할 수 있다.  (현재 IT 전공의 모든 과목을 AI·컴퓨터공학심화/컴퓨터공학 전공에서 100% 영어로 수강 가능하여, 신입생들은 AI·컴퓨터공학심화 또는 컴퓨터공학 전공 선택을 권장합니다. 수년 내 IT 전공은 정리될 예정입니다.)

| 공학교육인증 프로그램 개설 안내

• 전산전자공학부는 한국공학교육인증원(ABEEK)으로부터 인증을 획득하기로 결정하였다.
• 공학 교육의 질을 국제적 수준으로 높이기 위하여, 수요자 중심, 성과중심 교육 평가를 통한 자율 순환 개선형 교육시스템으로 한국공학교육인증원 (ABEEK) 으로부터 인증을 받게 된다.
• 전산전자공학부는 공학교육인증에 참여하기 위하여, 기존의 컴퓨터공학과 전자공학의 복수전공 학위과정 이외에 2007학년도부터 단수전공인 전자공학심화 프로그램과 컴퓨터공학 심화 프로그램을 개설하게 되었다.
• 2007학번부터 공학교육인증의 대상이 되며, 2006학번 또는 그 이전에 입학한 학생이 공학교육인증을 받기 원한다면 공학교육인증지원실을 통하여 전입 절차를 밟아야 한다. 
• 공학교육인증 학위명칭의 구분 : 공학교육인증 과정을 이수한 학생과 그렇지 않은 학생은 졸업장, 성적표, 졸업증명서 등 제증명서의 학위와 전공 명칭에서 다음과 같이 명칭 표기가 차이가 난다.(2007년부터)

전산전자공학부의 교과과정을 수료하게 되면, 전산과학, 전자공학과 더불어 정보, 통신 등 에 대한 전공지식을 골고루 갖추게 됩니다. 컴퓨터와 통신, 정보시스템에 대한 전반적인 전문지식을 갖춘 인재들은 21세기 정보화 시대에 사회의 각 분야에서 절대적으로 필요로 하고 있습니다. 졸업한 학생들은 정보통신 산업, 반도체 및 컴퓨터 산업을 비롯한 정보 산업체로의 취업 혹은 계속적인 학문연구를 위하여 전산과학, 정보 통신공학과 등의 대학원에 진학할 수 있습니다.

| Undergraduate Programs  

Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Engineering/Computer Science 
This major aims to develop experts in computer software and hardware. Students will gain a solid foundation in programming, essential knowledge, and skills required for software and hardware professionals. The curriculum also covers software and integrated application systems (including web and mobile platforms) and extends to specialized fields such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, virtual reality, and gaming. 

Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering 

This major explores the study and application of electrical, electronic, and electromagnetic phenomena. Students will engage in diverse areas, including circuit design, semiconductors, telecommunications, signal processing, networking, embedded system design, and control systems.

IT(Information Technology)
The IT major is a 33-credit program conducted entirely in English, focusing on computer science. Students in this program are encouraged to select any other major to fulfill an additional 33 credits, allowing for a flexible and interdisciplinary education. All IT major courses are also available in English for the Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Engineering or Computer Science majors. Therefore, we recommend that freshmen select Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Engineering or Computer Science majors. The IT major is expected to be phased out within a few years.

| Engineering Accreditation Program

• The School of CSEE has decided to obtain accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea(ABEEK). 
•  To elevate the quality of engineering education to an international standard, the School of CSEE will adopt an autonomous, cyclical improvement-based education system through demand-driven and outcome-based evaluations. This will enable the school to obtain accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK). 
• To participate in the accreditation program, the school introduced two specialized single-major programs—Electrical Engineering Specialization and Computer Science Specialization—in addition to the existing double-major degree programs in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, starting in the 2007 academic year.
• Students admitted in 2007 and beyond are subject to the accreditation program. Students who entered before 2007 and wish to be included in the accreditation must follow the transfer process through the Engineering Education Accreditation Support Office.
• Distinction of Degree Titles in Accreditation: From 2007, students who complete the ABEEK-accredited program will have degree and major titles that are distinctly labeled on their diplomas, transcripts, and graduation certificates compared to those who do not.
